Posted November 18, 2007 by Webpass

Webpass launched it’s business class service at 490 Second Street San Francisco today. Webpass continues to see strong demand for it’s point to point wireless mesh business services in the South of Market area. Webpass dedicated Internet access solutions for business compete directly with traditional T1 lines and have gained strong acceptance in the marketplace. Our Internet access solutions provide a physically diverse redundant Internet connection, do not require a local loop, and are approximately half the cost of our competitors. Bandwidth requirements continue to rise for business beyond the capability of standard T1s. Even bonded T1s only provide 3 Mbps of bandwidth. Growing businesses understand that they need 5 – 10 Mbps to handle business activities which just is not readily available from traditional carriers," commented Charles Barr President of Webpass.
