    Seattle

    Technical Support Engineer-Evenings/Weekends

    As a Technical Support Engineer at Webpass you will provide technical support to residential and commercial customers, across all offices, via the phone, email, and our proprietary ticketing system. This includes answering technical and non-technical questions related to their service, resolving issues, completing customer transactions (sign ups, payment, scheduling), escalating issues to the network engineer team, and closing out issues in a timely manner.

    The schedule for this position is Friday-Tuesday 3:30 pm-12:00 am

    This is a fixed-term role.

    Position Duties:
    -Answer billing and general account questions from customers and potential customers over the phone
    -Sign up customers, process credit card payments, and assist with collections
    -Answer technical questions as well as pinpoint and resolve technical issues
    -Escalate issues to the network engineering team and work with them to continuously improve our network and processes
    -Follow up with internal employees and external customers to resolve issues

    Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Certification, Educational Requirements of the role:
    -One year of technical support experience, supporting a volume of remote customers via phone and email
    -Superior troubleshooting skills in a switched network environment
    -Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    -Layer 1/ Physical layer experience in a switched network
    -Experience with home networking equipment including routers, laptops, and streaming devices

    Relationship Manager

    The Role
    We’re looking for energetic and vivacious individuals with a “go-getter” attitude to join our Seattle field team. To be successful in this role, you should be a self-starter with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and close deals. As a Relationship Manager for Webpass, you will be our brand advocate and evangelist. Your key role is maintaining strong relationships with the property management teams, residents, and tenants where Webpass provides Internet service.

    Responsibilities:
    -Increase brand awareness by managing relationships with Webpass property managers, customers and potential customers.
    -Become an expert in Webpass technology and product offering
    -Plan/Host marketing events in Webpass buildings
    -Be the point of contact for property managers and customers
    -Proactively build relationships with vendors and community partners
    -Communicate leads/opportunities, and provide support to help close agreements to the field Sales Team
    -Execute marking tactics to include direct mail and other marketing activities.
    -Attend networking and community events by actively being involved in city and neighborhood associations.
    -Network with property managers by performing site visits and lunch dates

    Requirements:
    -Go-getter with a “get it done” attitude who is self motivated to succeed
    -1-3 years of Relationship or Account Management experience
    -Ability to engage with warm leads and communicate effectively
    -Comfortable with hosting events and giving presentations
    -Able to present self in a professional and positive manner
    -Ability to work evenings and weekends when hosting events

    Installation and Construction Technician

    Webpass is hiring an Installation & Network Construction Technician to join our team in Seattle. Your primary focus will be residential installs however the position will support construction as well.

    Requirements:
    -1 year of pulling, terminating and testing CAT5/ CAT6 in residential and commercial environments
    -Experience troubleshooting Ethernet network issues related to routers, switches and hubs
    -Recent experience with: Rack and stack work, putting together server racks, Closet work, -and Patch panels
    -Ability to engage with the customer and communicate effectively
    -Able to present self in a professional and positive manner
    -Excellent time management skills to make set appointment times
    -Valid driver’s license

    Responsibilities:

    Residential Installation:
    We build our network specifically to deliver Internet, so it is a quick and easy install for both you and our customers.
    -Verify the jack is punched down correctly
    -Make any required cross connects to complete the connection all the way back to the telecom closet
    -Set up the customer’s router
    Network Construction:
    You will build, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain our Network! Every building is different so we rely on our technicians to bring a diverse skill set, exercise solid judgment, and collaborate well as a team. Bringing new buildings onto our network includes:
    -Conduct site surveys
    -Design cable pathways
    -Run and terminating CAT6 cables
    -Install radio mounts and grounding systems
    -Mount switches and POEs
    -Point microwave point-to-point radios and testing for service

    Residential Installer-Denver

    Webpass is hiring a Residential Installation Technician to join our team in Denver. This is a fixed term role and will work a Tuesday- Saturday schedule.

    The Role:
    As an Installation Technician at Webpass you will installing service for our residential customers. This is the icing on the cake – where we see all our hard work building a network come together at the customer’s unit. Our new Techs are always surprised at how excited our customers are when they arrive to install service.

    In our world, there are no appointment windows, we have set appointments. We build our network specifically to deliver Internet, so it is a quick and easy install for both you and our customers. The CAT 6 cable is already in the wall, but you will verify the jack is punched down correctly, make any required cross connects to complete the connection all the way back to the telecom closet, and set up the customer’s router. For most of our customers you are the only Webpasser they ever meet, so we are looking for not just skilled technicians but brand ambassadors.

    What we’re looking for:
    -2+ years of experience installing CAT 6 Ethernet networks in residential and commercial environments preferred
    -Ability to engage with the customer and communicate effectively
    -Able to present self in a professional and positive manner
    -Complete understanding of the physical layer, CAT6, 66 and 110 blocks, patch panels, multimode fiber, etc.
    -Experience with rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, and patch panels
    -Superior troubleshooting skills related to routers, switches and hubs, and streaming devices
    -Excellent time management skills to make set appointment times
    -Valid driver’s license
