FAQ

What is IPv6? How will it affect my service?

There has been a lot of discussion recently in the marketplace about IPv6 and what it means for the future of the Internet. IPv4 is our current Internet Protocol, and it allows for approximately 4 billion unique IP addresses. As many of us are connecting with up to three devices, IPv4 cannot support the demand and has exhausted. That’s where IPv6 comes in. As the Internet continues to grow, we need more IP addresses, which is exactly what IPv6 is providing.
Google offers a video about IPv6 and how to adapt as we migrate from IPv4 to IPv6. Check it out on our blog: https://webpass.net/blog/what-ipv6-means-for-you.
